- edits Lost Roads Publishers with husband, Forrest Gander.
- Together they published Arthur Sze’s book River River in 1987.
- Arthur Sze selected CD Wright’s book, String Light, which was
published by Georgia, as winner of The Poetry Center Book Award for
1991. - Wright teaches at Brown and has taught at Iowa Writers’ Workshop.
- Intervened in a plot for Mark Strand to select Michael White’s manuscript in the National Poetry Series; she helped to remove them from competition.
- Then, thinking her name would remain unknown as judge, selected Brown graduate, Mark McMorris’ manuscript The Blaze of the Poui, as winner of the University of Georgia Contemporary Poetry Series.
- She selected her student, Sam Truitt’s, second book as winner of the University of Georgia Contemporary Poetry Series. Lost Roads published his first.
- Selected Martha Ronk’s book for the National Poetry Series at approximately the same time Wright and Gander read at Occidental College, where Ronk is employed.
