Here's a little heads-up about the new issue of Boulevard (no.65/66) which just arrived here in the library serials dept. where I work. Nine writers & poets answer the questions, "What is the current status and value of literary awards and prizes? Has there been any significant change in them in the last 20 or 30 years? Do you think their effect on the literary world is beneficial, deleterious or mixed?"

I've only had time to skim the answers. Several of them deal with poetry book contests and their problems, though I didn't come across any mention of our favorite website.

Ed,

That sounds like an interesting issue.  Who are the contributors?
